It can convert image files like scanned documents in JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF, BMP, GIF, PNG, PSD, EMF, WMF, DCX, PCX, JP2 into editable TXT and Word. Image files can be recognized with high accuracy, saving you time of retyping or re-creating information unnecessarily. With the free OCR software you can extract text from images and locate information using specific search terms or phrases.

SuperGeek Free Document OCR recognizes images from input files and scanners. The OCR software allows flexible management of scanning parameters, such as: Color format, File type, Resolution (DPI), Brightness, Contrast and more. The majority of image formats supported are JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP, TIFF, ICO, EMF, PCX. The whole piece as well as the part of the image can be converted to TXT or Word documents. It provides Zoom tools to help you get the input file just right. You can also zoom by moving the mouse scroll wheel. If the orientation of scanned documents is skewed, using Rotate tools to correct them to their up-right position. When the contents of image are displayed in the text window, you can remove line breaks, cope text to the clipboard and place it into the application of your choice, clear the text window to remove the previously scanned contents, and even add words that are specific to your line of work.
