The popModal plugin is focused on the act of "overlaying" content on top of the page, and does not focus on one specific UI widget. That's why all the aforementioned user interface components can be created and powered via popModal.
The plugin is easy to deploy, easy to customize, and completely styleable via CSS so it can be adapted to any general page design and style guideline.
popModal windows can be triggered on both click and hover actions, and various elements like confirmation or close buttons can be added, along with centered or fixed positions.
Various popModal examples and usage instructions are included with the download package, to help programmers get started on their own implementations.
