OutlookReminders

Designed to work with Microsoft Outlook, but works just as well without it (Turn off localSync in 'send.ini asap though).

How to use it

There are two parts to Outlook Reminders: Popup and Send.

Send does all the syncronization with other 'stuff'. It read's and writes items from Outlook, and does the FTP send/recieve. Settings for Send are kept in the OutlookRemindersSend.ini file and are fairly self explanatory if you have a look.
Popup is the actual reminder bit. It runs from the system tray and popups notification whenever a reminder comes by. Click on the tray icon to open its main view which shows you all current reminders, with markings for past, present and future items. From the main view you can also add extra items if you do not have Outlook available.

A common way to use Outlook Reminders, if you do not have the need for the FTP bit is to change your OutlookRemindersSend.ini file to say:

SendRemindersViaFTP,"No"
SaveLatestOutlookData,"Yes"
DownloadRemindersFromFTPAndUpdateOutlook,"No"
doLaunchOnExit,"Yes"

then put a link to OutlookRemindersSend.exe in your startup folder. Every time you start your computer, 'Send' will read all of your reminders from Outlook, then run 'Popup'. In this way you will always be notified when a new reminder comes around, but you will not have to leave Outlook chewing up your memory.

If you do not have Outlook make sure to open the OutlookRemindersSend.ini file and set SaveLatestOutlookData to "No" otherwise Send will just crash.

If you need help email: rov_er at hotmail. I might be a little slow in responding though.
