Randomization & Batch Printing

One of Mathemania's strengths is the ability to create many different practice sheets using the same set of settings. This allows a teacher to create a different sheet (of the same difficulty) for every student in the class, or a parent to create a week's worth of practice sheets at once.

To generate more sheets:

Step 1

Make sure you have a sheet open, then choose Sheet > Randomize New Problems. Mathemania will wipe the sheet clean and generate new problems from the same numeric ranges.

Step 2

If you would rather keep the exact same problems (perhaps to guarantee fairness), you can choose Sheet > Reshuffle Existing Problems. This will keep all the same problems, but mix up their locations on the page.

After randomization, you can print the new sheet using File > Print. But this could easily become tedious.

To print a batch of sheets:

Step 1

Make sure you have a sheet open, then choose File > Print Batch.

Step 2

Enter the number of sheets you would like to have, not counting Answer Keys. For a class of 20 students, you would enter 20 (unless you're really mean).

Step 2

If you would like Answer Keys, choose "Print Corresponding Answer Keys."

Each sheet will have an identifier in the lower right so that you can easily match each sheet with its Answer Key.

Step 2

Choose Print Batch. Then set your normal print options, and click Print.

Mathemania will print each sheet (and possibly its corresponding answer key), then Randomize the problems and print another, repeating as needed.
