System configuration

iLive can be fully configured to suit the way you want to work.

DSP architecture - Configure mono or stereo input channels. Configure 32 mix buses as mono or stereo groups, auxes, mains, matrix.  Choose main mix type - M, LR, LCR, LCRplus, LRSub, LCRSub and more.  Apply processing to the engineer's wedge and IEM monitors.

Surface fader strip layout - Assign any combination of input channels, mix masters, DCAs, wedge/IEM masters to any layer in any fader bank.

Editor fader strip layout - Assign multiple layers of custom strips to create an independent fader layout for working with your laptop.

I/O Patching - Patch any mic preamp to any single or combination of DSP input channels.  Patch any iLive output to any physical socket or network port on the MixRack or Surface.  Patch sockets as physical inserts.  Configure send/return or inserted FX. Patch external inputs to mixes, talkback and PAFL.  Patch the talkback mic to any channel for full processing.

Name and colour - A virtual LCD 'write-on' strip with 5 character name and choice of 6 backlight colours + off.

SoftKeys - Assign 8 user keys as mutes, level, SEL/MIX/PAFL combinations, custom MIDI strings, Scene recall, tap tempo and more.

PL devices - Assign the switches, LEDs rotaries and faders.  Visit the Allen & Heath web site to learn more about the PL Series.

Meters - Name and assign up to 16 meters to each of the 4 user meter screens.
